DEN CHEIF TRAINING
What is a Den Chief?: A Den Chief is a youth leadership position in a Boy Scout Troop, Varsity Team or Venturing Crew. This youth works with a specific Cub Scout/Webelos Den and Cub Scout Pack. They are an example of what the furture of Scouting is for those Cub Scouts and Webelos.
Who can be a Den Chief?: Any youth registered in a Boy Scout Troop, Varstity Scout Team or Venturing Crew. AND is approved by their Unit Leader (Scoutmaster, Coach, Advisor). It is suggested, but not required, that they have at least earned the rank of first class.
